The ZD10 is a moped that was manufactured by the German manufacturer Zündapp .

The ZD 10 was produced in two different versions from 1977 to 1980. On the one hand, there was the so-called "saddle version" (type code 446-210) with a conventional single saddle and the "bench version" (type code 446-211) with a continuous bench, theoretically suitable for two people. The bench version was only produced in 1979 and only in small numbers, which is why it is relatively rare today and in great demand among collectors.

The main features of all Zündapp ZD models are the single-tube frame with molded-on rear section made of light metal, cast wheels measuring 1.6 × 17 and the well-known 49 cm³ motor with fan cooling and two-speed gearbox.

The ZD 10 model and its "big brother" ZD 30 (40 km / h moped) were the successors of the Zündapp M25 (also known as Bergsteiger) and M50.

The rarity and the relatively low level of awareness of the series make the ZD 10 especially interesting for collectors today. Vehicles of this series are welcome guests at classic car meetings of all kinds. They are also exhibited in various collections and museums. On the other hand, the ZD 10 has practically completely disappeared from the everyday street scene. Individual vehicles are still driven by enthusiasts in everyday operation.
