Zündapp DB 203 Comfort

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The DB 203 Comfort was a motorcycle that Zündapp -Werke GmbH, Nuremberg, built from 1952 to 1953.

technology

The motorcycle emerged from the Zündapp DB 202 as part of a model update . In contrast to this model, straight-way rear suspension, Jurisch system , was installed ex works . Some machines were now supplied with a closed chain case instead of the open one used previously. A Bing register carburetor with two piston slides was developed for this model. The passage used for low speeds has a diameter of 18 mm; From a certain opening height, this slider takes a second slider with it by means of a nose, which releases a 17 mm passage.

Because of the rear suspension, the rear frame part had to be changed compared to the DB 202 and the struts on the rear mudguard and the luggage rack had to be shortened. All other parts were identical.
