Zajączki ( German  Hasenberg, Heilsberg district ) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural community Lubomino (Arnsdorf) in the Lidzbark Warmiński district ( Heilsberg district ).

Geographical location

Zajączki is located south of the Jezioro Tonka (Dittrichsdorfer See) and 28 kilometers southwest of the former and current district town of Lidzbark Warmiński (Heilsberg) . The provincial road 593 from Miłakowo (Liebstadt) to Dobre Miasto (Guttstadt) and on to Reszel (Rößel) leads past the southern border of the town. The nearest train station is Lubomino (Arnsdorf) on the Polish state railway line 221 from Gutkowo (Göttkendorf) near Olsztyn (Allenstein) to Braniewo (Braunsberg) .

history

In Regerteln there was the only Protestant village parish in the predominantly Catholic Warmia . It was part of the parish of Warmia, superintendent district Braunsberg (today Polish: Braniewo) in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Zajączki is part of the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
