Ziegelhaus is a district of the Dombühl market in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the Sulzach . Approx. Half a kilometer east is the Klosterberg ( 531  m above sea level ), which is an elevation of the Sulzachrand heights, which are part of the Frankenhöhe . The brick field borders in the southwest. A community road leads to Schorndorf (1.3 km north) or via the Ziegelhütte to Kloster Sulz to the district road AN 4 (1.3 km south-east) Another community road leads to Dombühl to the AN 4 (2 km south-west).

history

In 1732 the place consisted of 6 properties and 1 shepherd's house. The village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties were exercised by the Sulz monastery administrator . 5 properties (1 mill, 1 yard, 3 goods) were in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Colmberg , 1 estate (1 estate) in the Fraisch district of the Ansbach Oberamt Feuchtwangen . From 1797 to 1808 the place belonged to the Justice and Chamber Office Feuchtwangen . The number of properties remained unchanged.

With the community edict (early 19th century) Ziegelhaus was assigned to the tax district of Dombühl and the rural community of Kloster Sulz . In the course of the regional reform , Ziegelhaus was incorporated into Dombühl on April 1, 1971.
