Zschiedge is a district in the Burgk district of the Saxon major district town of Freital in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

geography

Zschiedge is located in the east of the Freital city area. Birkigt borders in the north-west, and Burgk in the south and south-west. In the northeast, the Coschütz district joins the state capital Dresden . The route of the Windbergbahn runs nearby .

history

Zschiedge was first mentioned in a document in 1558. 1764 was the administrative affiliation of the place with the office Dresden . At the same time the manor exercised Potschappel the basic rule out. From 1856 to 1875 Zschiedge belonged to the Döhlen court office and later to the Dresden administration . In 1915 Zschiedge was incorporated into Burgk. In 1924 Burgk became a district of the city of Freital, which was founded in 1921, Zschiedge was not a separate district of the new city, it remained assigned to Burgk and only exists as a district.
