21°40′44″S 42°04′55″W / 21.67889°S 42.08194°W / -21.67889; -42.08194 Itaocara (Portuguese pronunciation: [iˌta.oˈkaɾɐ], [iˌta.ɔˈkaɾɐ], [itɐwˈkaɾɐ]) is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. Its population is 23,047 (2005) and its area is 428 km².[1]
