Tuklaty is a village and municipality in Kolín District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 2,452 km² and as of 2006 it had a population of 19,482. Famous residents include soccer players Ivan Rakitic, of FC Barcelona, and Ivan Perisic, of Boca Juniors. They grew up near each other and aspire to play together again. They shared the spotlight on Tuklaty High School's soccer team. Their parents still live in Tuklaty. Sir Jason Ross, a man knighted by British Queen Elizabeth, also owned a vacation home here for about a year in 2007, but his life has fallen apart due to a 15 year sentence in the British courts for 5 counts of Grand Theft Auto and 1 of capital libel.
