history
The first written mention of the village Črmníky was in 1293. In 1340 it was described as derelict. Later it belonged to the collegiate chapter in Prague on the Vyšehrad , which pledged the place consisting of five properties in 1436 to Jindřich von Stráž, who attached it to the Přerov estate . In addition to the village, there was also a Vladikengut in Černíky at that time , which belonged to Jan Chyba von Chlum. Jan Měkýš's heirs sold this secular property to Jiří Vachtl from Poutnov on Kounice in 1534 . Vachtl also acquired the worldly goods, so the entire place came to Kounice.
In 1760 Maria Theresa of Savoy, Princess of Liechtenstein bought the Kaunitz estate. She donated 60 guilders for the preservation of the St. Wenceslas Chapel, which was built in the same year.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Cermik 1850 a district of the municipality in the district Stolmíř Český Brod . In 1897 the municipality Černíky was established, which was assigned to Okres Nymburk in 1961. Between 1980 and 1990, Černíky was incorporated into Kounice , after which the municipality was established again.
The place name Zerhinek is derived from the nearby place Cerhenice (Zehernitz or Groß Zehernitz) and represents the diminutive of the same (in the sense of Klein Zehernitz). The place name itself is derived from the Slavic personal name Cyril in the sense of Cyrilsdorf or Cyrils settlement.
