Krchleby (German Skrchleb , also Kirchleb ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers north of Nymburk and belongs to the Okres Nymburk .
geography
Krchleby is located on the upper reaches of the Klobuš brook on the Bohemian Table. Strejcov ( Skrchleb , 209 m) rises to the west . State road 38 from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav runs through the village . The railway lines from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav and Jičín run on both sides of the village . In the open field, two kilometers from the village, are the railway stations "Straky" in the west and "Jíkev" in the east.
Neighboring towns are Patřín in the north, Jíkev and Hrubý Jeseník in the north-east, Oskořínek in the east, Chleby and Bobnice in the south-east, Obora and Všechlapy in the south, Dvory and Čilec in the south-west, Straky in the west and Všejany , Zavadilka and Jizbice in the north-west.
history
The first written mention of the village took place in 1323. Since 1345 the place was parish to the church of St. Aegidius in Veleliby . The inhabitants of the place lived from agriculture.
After the abolition of patrimonial Skrchleby formed a political municipality in the Poděbrady district from 1850 . In 1885 the volunteer fire brigade was established . In 1934 the community came to Okres Nymburk . Krchleby today consists of 295 single-family houses.
