The first school was established in 1607. Via Dorota Křinecká on Činěves, married Waldstein, the goods came to the Waldsteiners , who joined them to the Dymokury rule . After the abolition of patrimonial Činěves formed from 1850 with the district Jakubský Mlýn a municipality in the Poděbrady district . In 1857 a synagogue and a Jewish school were built . In 1881 the railway started operating and a train station was built outside the village at Jakobteich near Jakobmühle. In 1957 there were 754 people in Činěves. At the beginning of 1961 the community came to Okres Nymburk. In 1970 the village, consisting of 270 houses, had 669 inhabitants. Between 1980 and 1990 Velenice was incorporated.
