Jizbice (German Jisbitz , older also Gisbitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located nine kilometers north of Nymburk and belongs to the Okres Nymburk .
geography
Jizbice is on the Bohemian Table. The Vinice ( vineyard , 240 m) rises to the west . State road 38 from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav runs through the village .
Neighboring towns are Chudíř in the north, Patřín and Loučeň in the northeast, Jíkev in the east, Krchleby in the southeast, Čilec and Dvory in the south, Straky in the southwest, Zavadilka in the west and Vlkava in the northwest.
history
The first written mention of Jizbice was in 1223.
After the abolition of patrimonial Jizbice formed with the district Jizbická Zavadilka from 1850 a political municipality in the Poděbrady district . In 1934 the community came to Okres Nymburk . In 1949 Všejanská Zavadilka, which had previously been part of the Všejany municipality, was also connected. Both Zavadilkas were united in one place in 2000.
Community structure
The municipality Jizbize consists of the districts Jizbice ( Jisbitz ) and Zavadilka ( Sawadilka ). The latter is made up of the localities of Jizbická Zavadilka ( Sawadilka near Jisbitz ) and Všejanská Zavadilka ( Sawadilka near Wschejan ). In addition, the Sloupčí single-layer belongs to the municipality .
