geography

Všechlapy is located by the Klobuš brook on the Bohemian Table. State road 38 leads through Všechlapy from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav . To the west of the village lies the fork in the railway lines from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav and Jičín .

history

The first written mention of the village took place in 1223. Since 1345 the place was parish to the Church of St. Giles in Veleliby . The village belonged to the city of Nymburk until 1547 and was then confiscated by Ferdinand I because of his participation in the anti-Habsburg uprising and joined the Poděbrady rule . In 1558 Všechlapy passed to the rule of Vlkava . Since 1622 the fortress and the village of Všechlapy including the Vorwerk belonged to the von Schreibersdorf family, who emigrated to Electoral Saxony in 1628 in the course of the re-Catholicization and whose goods were then confiscated and sold to Albrecht von Waldstein . He wrote it over to Adam von Waldstein . In 1636 the goods were lent to Otto Friedrich Graf Harrach . The Harrach Counts held the property until 1789, after which it was sold to the Loučeň Lordship .

After the abolition of patrimonial Všechlapy formed from 1850 with the district Vobora a political municipality in the Poděbrady district . In 1934 the community came to Okres Nymburk , at the same time it was incorporated into Vlkava . In 1949 the municipality of Všechlapy was established again.
