history

The first written mention of Dvorové Velelibští took place in 1553 when Ludwig II transferred the taxes from Veleliby to the city of Nymburk . At that time the village consisted of seven properties belonging to either the church or the Veleliby fortress. In 1558 Heinrich von Dohna acquired the goods in Veleliby and Dvorové Velelibští and added them to the Benatek rule . He enlarged the manorial yard, which then encompassed about half of the village. Until 1652, further plots of land in the village were attached to the farm, which was named Zdonín at that time. In 1840 Dvory consisted of 36 properties lined up along the road to Nymburk.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dvory formed with the districts Čilec , Veleliby and Zdonín from 1850 a political municipality in the Poděbrady district . In 1907 Čilec broke up and formed its own municipality. From 1920 the village was expanded by creating side streets. In 1934 the community came to Okres Nymburk .
