Hradištko , until 1969 Hradišťko (German Hradischko ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers southwest of Nymburk and belongs to the Okres Nymburk .

geography

Hradištko is located on the left bank of the Elbe opposite the Mydlovar ruins and the mouth of the Vlkava on the East Bohemian Table. The Kersko Nature Park extends to the south and the “Mydlovarský luh” floodplain forest to the northwest.

Neighboring towns are Šnepov and Rozkoš in the north, Kostomlaty nad Labem in the north-east, Doubrava, Písty and Zvěřínek in the east, Sadská and Třebestovice in the south-east, Velenka in the south-west, Kersko and Semice in the west and Ostrá in the north-west.

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1088.

After the abolition of patrimonial Hradišťko formed a municipality in the Poděbrady district from 1850 . The Kerskowald is part of the municipality. After the First World War, the Kersko became a popular recreational area for Prague's upper class. A holiday home area was built in the forest. Since 1949 the community belongs to Okres Nymburk.

In 1951, the Kersko Forest was the area of ​​action of resistance actions by the Mašín brothers . On September 12, 1951, Ctirad Mašín and Milan Paumer tied up the taxi owner in the forest who had driven them after their attack on the police station in Chlumec nad Cidlinou . On September 28, the Mašín brothers and Paumer seized an ambulance at the junction of the road to Kersko from the 611 near Velenka and handcuffed the paramedics in the forest. They then raided the police station in Čelákovice with the stolen ambulance .

Since 1970 the municipality has been called Hradištko . In 2006 the Kersko settlement consisted of 362 houses and since 2000, single-family houses have also been built, so that Kersko now also has permanent residents.
