(sic) nesses is a live DVD by the US metal band Slipknot .

History of origin

(sic) nesses was filmed in Donington Park during the Download Festival on June 13, 2009 in front of 80,000 spectators. The concert was part of the All Hope Is Gone World Tour , which ran from July 9th, 2008 to October 31st, 2009. 30 cameras were used to record the performance. On May 24, 2010, bassist Paul Gray was found dead in an Iowa hotel . A toxicological examination revealed that he had died of an overdose of morphine and fentanyl in combination with an existing heart disease. (sic) nesses is therefore considered to be the unofficial legacy of Gray. The DVD was released on September 28, 2010. On November 2, 2010, the album was awarded a platinum record in the USA . In addition to the concert, the album includes the 40-minute documentary Audible Visions of (sic) nesses , which was produced by percussionist Shawn Crahan . It was recorded during the tour and shows excerpts from it. The music videos for Psychosocial , Dead Memories , Sulfur and Snuff are also available. There is also a making-of for the latter.

The Best of album Antennas to Hell , which was released on July 20, 2012, was also accompanied by a CD containing the performance at the Download Festival in audio format. In addition, (sic) nesses was released on July 27th as a Blu-ray Disc .
