- Augustan Alpine campaigns : The Romans conquer the Genaunen and Breonen and, under the leadership of Drusus , Augustus ' son-in-law, conquer the area that will later be the province of Raetia (part of the central Alps and pre-Alpine area up to the Danube), Chur becomes the main settlement of Raetia great.
