The 2nd HNL 2018/19 was the 28th season of the second Croatian football league . The season started on August 24, 2018 and ended on May 25, 2019.

The first in the table rose directly, the second played against the penultimate of the 1. HNL in the play-offs for promotion. The bottom of the table was relegated directly to the 3rd HNL .
