  • Three Kingdoms Era : Liu Bei , a Chinese warlord and distant member of the Han imperial family , proclaimed himself emperor. He founds the Shu Han dynasty in opposition to the Wei dynasty in the north, which is the official successor of the Han dynasty.
  • Autumn: General Yu Jin , who was captured two years earlier, is in an embassy from Chinese warlord Sun Quan to the Wei dynasty . The embassy can bring about an alliance between the Wei emperor Cao Pi and Sun Quan.
  • December: The embassy returns to Sun Quan and, on behalf of the emperor, brings him the nine decorations and the title of Duke of Wu . At the same time, Liu Bei attacks Sun Quan's western outposts and defeats General Pan Zhang.
