  • June 13th : Constantinian turning point : In the Milan agreement between the emperors Constantine I (western Rome) and Licinius (eastern Rome) every person is allowed the religion he chooses for himself.
  • The two emperors of the Roman Empire, Constantine the Great and Licinius, meet in Milan for the wedding of Licinius with Constantine's half-sister Flavia Iulia Constantia . On this occasion, they publish the Milan Agreement, which guarantees all citizens of the Roman Empire freedom of religion . This is especially important for the Christians who had been persecuted and executed two years earlier.
