- March 1 : According to the agreement between Emperor Constantine and Licinius in the previous year, Constantine appoints his sons Flavius Iulius Valerius Crispus and Flavius Claudius Constantinus, who was born just the previous month, as Caesars in Sofia . Valerius Licinianus Licinius becomes Caesar and thus designated successor of his father Licinius.
- Aurelius Valerius Valens , who was proclaimed anti -emperor by Licinius last December, is executed.
