Events
Imperial crisis of the 3rd century : The Roman emperor Probus has the usurper Proculus executed, who had been handed over to him the year before by his own men.
The Germanic tribes succeed in completely burning the Roman fleet on the Rhine . Their commander Bonosus (who is possibly fictional) proclaims himself the counter-emperor. After a protracted struggle, Emperor Probus succeeds in suppressing him. In the end, Bonosus hangs himself.
After his numerous campaigns to secure the external borders of the empire, Emperor Probus returns in a triumphal procession to the city of Rome .
First written mention of Tinizong .
