The A23 is an important road in Kazakhstan in the north of the country. The road is an east-west route from Ordzhonikidze to Dzhetygarinskiy .
Street description
The A23 is a branch of
, one of the main roads from Qostanai towards western Kazakhstan. The A23 runs until shortly after Dzhetygarinskiy , not far from the border with Russia without a border crossing to Russia. The A23 is not very important. The largest city on the route is the city of Schitiqara . The route leads through the flat and cultivated steppe.
history
The A23 was renumbered in 2011. It is unclear which number replaced the A23, possibly an R-way from the times of the Soviet Union. The A23 is not a main route and the road network in the Kazakh-Russian border region is not very well developed.
