The A6 is a trunk road in Kazakhstan , in the south-east of the country. The road leads from Koklek through Kegen to the border with Kyrgyzstan and is 115 kilometers long.
Street description
The A6 begins at Koklek on the A2 and A5 and leads southeast to Kegen, from there further south to the border with Kyrgyzstan. This is one of the few low-lying areas in the Tian Shan Mountains. The border with Kyrgyzstan runs at about 2000 m above sea level . The road is of secondary nature because it does not go through many places, but it is one of the few connections between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The route continues to Tyup in Kyrgyzstan .
history
The A6 was renumbered in 2011 and replaces the A351 between Koklek and Kegen and the A362 between Kegen and the border with Kyrgyzstan. On the Kyrgyzstan side, it continues as A362.
