The A24 is an important road in Kazakhstan in the northwest of the country. The road is an east-west route from Aqtöbe via Yaysan to the border with Russia .
Street description
The A24 begins in the city of Aqtöbe, the most important junction in western Kazakhstan. In addition to the M32, it also crosses the A25 and A27 here . The route goes north from Aqtöbe and then west along the Ileak River . The area consists of gentle steppe, with some cultivated areas along the Ileak River. After about two thirds of the route, the city of Martuk follows and, near the border with Russia, the city of Yaysan. On the Russian side, local roads continue to Orenburg .
history
The A24 was renumbered in 2011 and replaces the old Soviet route with an unknown number from Aqtöbe to Orenburg. The road is of regional importance.
