The A4 is a trunk road in Kazakhstan , it is located in the southeast of the country. The road represents the connection between Almaty and Agasch , which lies on the border with Kyrgyzstan . The route is to be 132 km long after completion.
Street description
A large part of the A4 is still in the planning stage, the northern section from Almaty has been completed. The route starts in Almaty and runs west through an agricultural plain in the Almaty region at the foot of the Tian Shan Mountains . It is a parallel route to the A2 . The route currently ends in Usynaghasch . The route should lead further south through the mountains to the Kyrgyz border and from there to Aktüs and Bishkek .
history
The A4 was renumbered in 2011 as part of the reorganization of the Kazakh roads. The street was previously run as an R-street from Soviet times.
