The A29 is a trunk road in Kazakhstan . The road is an east-west route from Oral to the Russian border near Osinki .

Street description

The A29 runs from the M32 and A28 at Oral to the Russian border, where a connection to Saratow continues with the R236 . The route leads through the steppe of western Kazakhstan. The A29 is completely in the European part of Kazakhstan.

history

The A29 was renumbered in 2011 and replaces the R236 which ran from Saratov to Oral during the Soviet Union . Over a quarter of this route has been in Kazakhstan since 1991.
