  • A2 motorway at Đurmanec

The Autocesta A2 ( Croatian for 'A2 motorway'), also called Zagorska autocesta , is a 59.2 km long Croatian motorway that connects the capital Zagreb at the "Jankomir" (A2 / A3) motorway triangle with Slovenia on the Slovenian border near Donji Macelj connects. In Slovenia this motorway continues as the A4 . The motorway is part of the European route 59 .

The section from the Ravninščica bridge to the Sveta Tri Kralja tunnel has only one lane (approx. 5 km), which is why the maximum speed there is limited to 80 km / h. The construction of the second carriageway is in the planning phase.

With the exception of a few kilometers near Zagreb and at the border crossing, the route is subject to tolls and is managed by the private motorway company Autocesta Zagreb-Macelj doo (AZM). The entire route from the Slovenian border to Zagreb was opened to traffic on May 29, 2007.
