Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas

The Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas , or AMPROFON for short , is an interprofessional organization that represents the interests of the Mexican music industry . The association was founded in 1963. AMPROFON is a member of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry . The association's tasks are to compile the Mexican music charts, to represent the rights and to award music awards for albums , singles and video albums .
