In the 18th century, the village consisted only of the southern group of houses, which still exist in their original form today. These are the Fuchs farm with home, formerly Ritzelgut, Jodlgut, Sülzlgut or Schmidtgut (Ach 1 or 2), and the Hausl farm, formerly Schmied- or Geigergütl (Ach 4) with the home that belongs to it today, formerly Söllhamergütl (Ach 3).

In 1869, 23 people lived in four houses in Ach. Until 1910 the population decreased slightly, with 21 inhabitants in four houses in that year. All residents of the village were of the Catholic faith.
