Adam Scott (born April 3, 1973 in Santa Cruz , California ) is an American actor . He has appeared in many television series (including Party of Five and Parks and Recreation ) and various well-known films.

Career

Scott took acting classes at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena . His career began in the mid-1990s with guest appearances in various television series, including a. he appeared in several episodes of Emergency Room and Life and Me . At the same time he was playing in the theater. A supporting role in Star Trek: First Contact in 1996 was Scott's first appearance in a major movie production.

His performance in the comedy drama The Vicious Kind won awards at both the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival in Birmingham and the Strasbourg International Film Festival in Strasbourg.

From the end of the second season until the end of the series in 2015, he was seen in the series Parks and Recreation in the role of Ben Wyatt .
