Career

In the club

Cerri comes from the youth of FC Parma , in which he was active from 2006 to 2013. In the 2-0 defeat against AS Roma on March 17, 2013, he sat for the first time on the bench with the first team, but was not used. A short time later, on March 30, he was substituted on for Amauri in the game against Delfino Pescara in 1936 when the score was 3-0 and thus played his first Serie A game. In the second half of the 2012/13 season he was on the bench three more times, but without receiving any further bets.

In the following season , Cerri was an integral part of the professional squad of Parma, but was only nominated once for a league game in the first half of the season and was not used there either. In the second half of the season, however, Cerri was regularly on the bench and was also able to book another appearance: In the 1-0 win over SSC Napoli , he was substituted on for Jonathan Biabiany shortly before the end of the game .

To Cerris development to promote further and to let him match practice he became the SS Virtus Lanciano in the Serie B awarded. During the 2014/15 season he played a total of 19 times for Lanciano and scored four goals. At the end of the season he returned to Parma FC.

However, since Parma FC was declared bankrupt due to financial problems and auctioned, all contracts of any professional players were also terminated. These players also included Cerri, who was thus on the market for free. On July 14, 2015, the Italian record champions Juventus announced the signing of Cerris, who received a contract until June 30, 2019. On August 21, he was awarded to the end of the season at Cagliari Calcio in the 2nd division . A loan deal with SPAL followed in summer 2016, and another with Delfino Pescara 1936 in January 2017 . In the summer of 2017, Cerri moved to AC Perugia Calcio on loan .

In the national team

Cerri went through the U-16 , U-17 , U-18 and U-19 selection from 2011 to 2015 . From 2015 to 2018 he played for the U-21 national team , for which he scored one goal in 21 games.
