Cacciatore began his career at Sampdoria Genoa , the club loaned him to Olbia Calcio in 1905 , to AC Reggiana and then to Foligno Calcio , all three clubs that were then playing in the third division . In 2008 he was at US Triestina awarded and played there in the series B . After another two loan positions, he moved to Hellas Verona in 2014 , where he was able to establish himself on the right defensive side and scored five goals, he prepared another five goals.

Because of his good performance, Sampdoria bought him back on June 20, 2014 and paid a transfer fee of 370,000 euros, but his second engagement with Doria was unhappy, also because he was out for several months due to a muscle injury.

On July 16, 2015, Cacciatore signed a loan agreement with an option to buy with Chievo Verona and immediately played 29 games. Chievo was convinced of Cacciatore, so the purchase option was drawn in 2016. On the first matchday of the 2016/17 season he prepared the 1-0 through Valter Birsa in a game against Inter Milan , while on matchday four he scored the 2-1 winner against Udinese Calcio in stoppage time and his team almost at the last minute brought victory.
