Filippo Romagna (* 26. May 1997 in Fano ) is an Italian footballer , who as a central defender for Cagliari Calcio in Serie A play.

Career

society

Filippo Romagna started his football career in his hometown of Fano. At the age of ten, he joined the Rimini Football Club in 1912 . In 2011 Romagna moved to the youth team of Juventus Turin . After loaning to Novara Calcio and Brescia Calcio in Serie B , he moved to Cagliari Calcio on July 28, 2017 and signed a five-year contract. On September 17, he made his debut for Cagliari in Serie A as a substitute. He replaced João Pedro in the 91st minute of the 2-0 away win at SPAL Ferrara .

National team

Romagna represented its country in different age groups. He took part in the 2016 U-19 European Championship and the 2017 U-20 World Championship .

On September 1, 2017, he made his debut under Luigi Di Biagio in the Italian U21 team in a friendly that was lost 3-0 to Spain .
