Aleksander Pacek

Aleksander Pacek (born May 16, 1979 in Fürth ) is a folk musician with Slovenian ancestors living in Bavaria (Germany) .

Career

Pacek started playing the Styrian harmonica at the age of seven . He initially taught himself the instrument on his own, before starting music school for two years from the age of nine . At the age of 14 he became European junior champion on his instrument. In 2001 he became world champion on the Styrian harmonica . His other instruments are electric bass , accordion, guitar and keyboard .

The Oberkrainer Heimatbuben

Pacek's parents are from Slovenia .

In 1992 Aleksander Pacek founded a band with his father Branko and his brother Marjan in Nuremberg , which mainly plays in the Oberkrainer style , sometimes with four-part singing. Pacek's current team-mates are Adrian Hatton (born September 22, 1979; Styrian harmonica, accordion , vocals and guitar ), Marjan Pacek (born November 25, 1969; keyboard , vocals and accordion) and Christian Koch (born October 6, 1982; baritone , E-bass, bass violin , Styrian harmonica, trombone and violin ).

Today the band can look back on numerous appearances at home and abroad. Examples would be: Pyras brewery festival, on the Alpski evening in Bled, at the Schrozberg Oktoberfest, at the asparagus market in Nuremberg, at the wine festival in Nuremberg, RTL Franken live in Nuremberg, at the tent festival in Pfarrkirchen, at the musicians' gala in Ottensoos, at the spring festival in Nuremberg the Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Main , the Musikmesse Ried in Austria , the Musikanten-Ski-WM in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Heigerloch Musikantenfest etc.

The band is partly strengthened by guests, including Hansl Krönauer , the Hofmann siblings , Marc Pircher , Florian Silbereisen , Franz Mihelic , Milan Kokali , Romana , Die Pfunds Kerle , Michael Laimer , the Alpenoberkrainer , the Alpski Quintet , Die Hegl , the Mooskirchner Quintet , the Zellberg Buam , Stefanie Hertel , Stefan Mross , Eberhard Hertel , Henry Arland , the Neuneralm Musi , the Lechner Buam , Robert Goter , Sandi Pacek , Alexandra Schmied , the Isartaler Hexen and Die Stoakogler .

Solo career

In 2018 Pacek released the solo CD Mach Deine Seele Frei at Tyrolis , where, in contrast to the Heimatbuben, he only acts instrumentally .
