The Alina is a cabin passenger ship built by Scylla AG in Basel in 2010/2011 , which is used in the time charter by the Bonn river tour operator Phoenix Reisen on the Danube , Rhine , Main and Moselle . She is the structurally identical sister ship of the Amelia, which was commissioned in 2012 .
history
After the two-part hull was completed at the Vahali shipyard in Belgrade , both parts were transferred to the shipyard's headquarters in Gendt in the Netherlands in July 2010 by means of push boats . The launch took place on September 22nd. The interior work was then carried out by the Scheepstimmerbedrijf Da-Capo in Hardinxveld-Giessendam . On February 23, 2011 the entry was made with the ENI no. 07001934 in the Basel shipping register . The ceremonial christening took place on March 31, 2011 in Cologne . The godmother was Hildegard Gippert, the longest-serving employee of Phoenix Reisen in Bonn. The subsequent three-day maiden voyage led via Rüdesheim am Rhein to Mainz and back.

The Alina is a four- deck cabin ship in the 4-star category with 104 double cabins and four three-bed cabins. The cabins are air-conditioned and each equipped with a shower, toilet, television, telephone and safe. The cabins on the middle and upper deck have a French balcony . The cabins for the 42-person crew are located in the rear area of the lower deck. Two restaurants were set up in the front middle area of the lower and middle decks. The galley is located in the bow area of the middle deck. On the bow side of the upper deck is the all-round glazed panorama salon with bar area . In addition, the Lido-Bar with a covered open deck was set up aft on the upper deck . The entrance area, which was laid out as an atrium , extends over the three closed decks. There you will find the reception , the on-board shop, the wellness area and an elevator, via which all decks can be reached. On the sundeck, in addition to sun loungers and garden furniture, a whirlpool , a putting green and a shuffleboard are available to passengers .

Cruising areas
The Alina is used from October to May on the Rhine and from June to September on the Danube between Passau and the Danube Delta .
