Alison Brie
Alison Brie (* 29. December 1982 as Alison Brie Schermerhorn in Pasadena , California ) is an American actress , best known for her series roles as Annie Edison in Community and Trudy Campbell in Mad Men .
Life
Brie started her career as a performer on stage at a Jewish community center in Southern California . She graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a bachelor's degree in theater. However, before becoming a television actress, Brie worked as a clown at birthday parties and performed in the theater. For a while she also studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland .
One of Brie's first roles on television was a supporting role on Hannah Montana . She gained wider fame with her role as Trudy Campbell in the Mad Men series . She also plays the role of Annie Edison in the Community series . In the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman , she spoke in the original Diane Nguyen from 2014 to 2020 . Since 2017, she has played the lead role in the Netflix series GLOW .
In August 2015, she got engaged to actor Dave Franco . The two married in March 2017.
In 2018 she was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
She first worked as a screenwriter and producer for Horse Girl from 2020.
