As host of the ceremony, in the United States live on NBC will air, was Seth Meyers selected.
With four awards each, Martin McDonagh's tragic comedy Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri , received the most awards in the film category, while the mini-series Big Little Lies received the most awards in the television category . The German-French contribution Out of Nowhere by Fatih Akin was honored with the Golden Globe Award in the category Best Foreign Language Film .
