history

Guitarist Jan Jansohn ( Adorned Brood , Jan Jansohn Quartet, Ex- Agathodaimon , Ex- Dunkelschön , Ex-Opalessence) and keyboarder Felix Ü. Waltz (Ex-Agathodaimon, Ex-Opalessence, Ex-The Legacy) formed the band after leaving Agathodaimon. Moritz “Mo” Stübig (Ex-Vision Scope) joined in for the clear vocals, Ivica Butina (Ex-Opalessence, Ex-Fated) for the bass and Sebastian Kraus (Mine) for the drums. Guitarist Danny Seith (IAMENEMY, Ex-We Are Guilty, Ex- all: my: faults ) and growler and lyricist Steve KiAi (IAMENEMY, Ex-We Are Guilty, Ex-all: my: faults, Ex-Somaside, Ex-Seven Inch Bastards) completed the first line-up by merging with their project We Are Guilty (Melodic Death Metal) with regard to their own songs and song ideas.

The first concert took place in May 2011 in Mainz. Numerous other appearances followed - including with Adorned Brood, Eisregen , Debauchery , Arven , Ruk Yale Ketema, Unleash the Sky and Darkest Horizon as well as with Ravenblood and Difused in Barcelona and Igualada (Spain).

In August 2011, the album contact was recorded in the Kohlkeller Studio (in which bands such as Adorned Brood, Agathodaimon, Benighted , A Traitor Like Judas , Crematory , Subsignal , Powerwolf , Burden and Cripper also record) in Seeheim-Jugenheim . recorded under the direction of producer Kristian Kohlmannslehner , on which Karsten "Jagger" Jäger ( Disbelief ) and Frank "Akaias" Nordmann (Asaru, ex-Agathodaimon) can be heard as guest singers.

In January 2012, the single How Far Would You Go? via Noizgate Records and in March 2012 the first album entitled contact. released via Deafground Records. The artwork comes from Moritz Stübig (vocals, lyrics) himself. The debut album received many positive reviews in various magazines, webzines or radio stations (metal.de, Legacy: 11/15, Rock Hard: 7.5 / 10, MetalHammer 4/7, Time for Metal 8/10, Medicine-Mag 10/13, Metal.info 8,5 / 10, NewcomerRadio Deutschland 9/10, Powermetal.de 7,5 / 10, Mega-Metal.de 7, 5/10, Bleeding4Metal 7.5 / 10, Jorzine.com 7/10). contact. also attracted attention abroad (including Greece, Japan, Spain and Egypt).

Sascha Smollen (guitar / vocals with Ruk Yale Ketema and Strana Mechty), whom they got to know through a joint concert with Ruk Yale Ketema, was hired as live guitarist and growl support for the tour and almost all appearances in 2012. He became a permanent guitarist after Danny Seith decided in August 2012 to leave the band entirely due to personal and musical differences. A short time later, bassist Ivica Butina left the band for professional reasons. He was replaced by Torben Schug.

In the summer of 2012 the band played a number of festival appearances, including at the Trebur Open Air and at Umsonst und Draußen in Bad Kissingen. In October 2012 the band had already played 40 concerts in 17 months and was nominated for the Hessian Rock and Pop Award .

Since 2012 the band has occasionally been supported on drums by Mischa Kliege (Adorned Brood, Denight, Ex-Earth After Sun) or Bernhard Schneider (Garden of Delight). In 2013 René Ellrich (Sugar of the Underworld, Freakenzy Square, Egoview) helped out on bass and guitar. The connection came about through joint projects. Jan plays with Mischa at Adorned Brood and with Bernhard in a jazz combo. Sascha plays together with René in their prog band Sugar of the Underworld and their meanwhile inactive metalcore project Freakenzy Square.

From the beginning of 2013 until the end of 2014, the band wrote new songs for their second studio album. In May 2013 Torben Schug was permanently replaced by René Ellrich, who had already represented him, due to musical differences on the bass.

In the further course of the year there were further personnel changes. Singer Moritz Stübig and drummer Sebastian Kraus left the band due to time, professional and logistical reasons, Steve KiAi due to personal differences. In December 2013, two new members were introduced. Frank Richter (guitar / guttural background vocals with Orcus Patera, formerly vocals with Stillborn Savior) took over both the clean vocals and the growls. Lukas Stumpf (formerly Dunkelschön with Jan Jansohn) replaced Sebastian Kraus on drums.

In March 2014 guitarist Sascha quit because he wanted to concentrate on completing his studies. He was replaced by Julez Holzmann. The new drummer Lukas suffered a meniscus injury before his first concert and has since been represented at concerts with a new line-up at short notice by Mischa Kliege, Bernhard Schneider and his predecessor Sebastian Kraus. For the first time since the publication of contact. also played new songs. In June 2014 bassist René, who had recently become a father, quit in order to adequately look after his family. He was replaced at short notice by Tobias Brzitwa, who also joined the company straight away. In summer the band played at the Schlossgrabenfest in Darmstadt and the Out and Loud in Geiselwind. The recordings for a second studio album were planned for the last quarter of 2014. Even before the Chaostraum Open Air and the Karben Open Air in summer, guitarist Julez Holzmann got out again in order to be able to concentrate more on the work in his recording studio. He was replaced by Steffen Henneberger from Nordic Throne. In April 2015 bassist Tobias Brzitwa was replaced by Max Jänsch. In August, Lukas Gröhl, a new permanent drummer, was introduced at the 'Rodgau Rocken'.

The second studio album, Deeper Into Time , was released in November 2015 on the Noizgate Records label . The album became contact as before . Mostly recorded in the Kohlkeller Studio, produced by Kristian Kohlmannslehner and promoted in the last quarter of 2015 through a small club tour with Soulbound and Burden of Life. Song material has previously been played at several summer festivals.

In December 2017, the third studio album Infinitas was released on Noizgate Records.
