The 47th Alpine World Ski Championships will take place in Courchevel and Méribel ( France ) in February 2023 .

The award was made during the 51st FIS Congress from May 13th to 19th, 2018 in Costa Navarino . In addition to Courchevel, Saalbach-Hinterglemm ( Austria ) also applied to host . Courchevel won the bid with 9: 6 votes. The detailed application concept had to be submitted by September 1, 2017. In Meribel, where the 1992 Albertville women’s Olympic courses are located, the women’s speed competitions and the men’s technical competitions will take place;
