The 7th Alpine World Ski Championships took place from February 13 to 15, 1937 in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc , France .

history

From then on, the FIS events officially carried the title of World Championships .

Four skiers were allowed to start per nation and competition, the performance of the best three counted for the team ratings that were officially held at the time. No female skiers from Austria , Italy or France competed in the women's competitions .

With Émile Allais , a Frenchman was crowned world champion for the first time and, for the first time, a skier from Czechoslovakia, Růžena Beinhauerová, took a top 10 place in the alpine disciplines at the World Ski Championships.
