Amphoe Phayu (in Thai อำเภอ พยุ ห์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the center of the province of Si Sa Ket . The province of Si Sa Ket is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Amphoe Phayu borders the following districts (clockwise from north): Amphoe Mueang Si Sa Ket , Nam Kliang , Si Rattana , Phrai Bueng and Wang Hin . All Amphoe are in Si Sa Ket Province.

history

Phayu was initially set up as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) on April 30, 1994 by separating its five tambon from the Amphoe Mueang Si Sa Ket. On October 11, 1997, it was promoted to Amphoe.

  • Phayu (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล พยุ ห์ ), consisting of parts of the Tambon Phayu.
