Amphoe Non Khun (in Thai อำเภอ โนน คูน ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Si Sa Ket . The province of Si Sa Ket is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Non Khun District borders the following districts are (from south clockwise) to the Amphoe Benchalak , Nam Kliang and Kanthararom in the province of Si Sa Ket, as well as Amphoe Samrong the province of Ubon Ratchathani .

history

Non Khun was initially set up on September 1, 1977 as a “branch circle” ( King Amphoe ) of the Amphoe Kanthararom with the four tambon Non Kho, Pho, Bok and Nong Kung. On January 1, 1988, it was promoted to Amphoe. Non Khun was initially written โนน คูณ in Thai , later the spelling was changed to โนน คูน .
