The Märkische Heide office was an office in the state of Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which 14 communities in the former districts of Beeskow and Lübben (now the district of Dahme-Spreewald , Brandenburg ) had come together to form an administrative association. Three other communities were assigned to the office by the Brandenburg Interior Minister. The seat of the official administration was in the community of Groß Leuthen . The Märkisch Heide office was dissolved again in 2003.

Geographical location

The Amt Märkische Heide bordered in the north on the Amt Storkow (Mark) , in the northeast on the Amt Tauche , in the east and southeast on the Amt Oberspreewald , in the south and south-west on the unofficial city of Lübben (Spreewald) and in the west and northwest on the Unterspreewald office .

history

On October 29, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave his approval for the establishment of the Märkische Heide office. November 2, 1992 was set as the date on which the office was established. The office was located in the municipality of Groß Leuthen and consisted of 17 municipalities in the former Beeskow and Lübben districts :

In addition, in accordance with Section 1, Paragraph 4 of the Official Rules of the State of Brandenburg, the municipalities:

On September 4, 2002, the Ministry of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the merger of the communities of Biebersdorf, Glietz, Groß Leuthen, Klein Leine, Leibchel, Plattkow, Schuhlen-Wiese and Wittmannsdorf-Bückchen to form the new community of Märkische Heide . The merger only became legally effective on October 26, 2003.

On October 26, 2003, the communities of Alt-Schadow, Dollgen, Dürrenhofe, Gröditsch, Groß Leine, Hohenbrück-Neu Schadow, Krugau, Kuschkow and Pretschen were incorporated into the new community of Märkische Heide. The office of Märkische Heide was dissolved, the municipality of Märkische Heide free of office.
