The former east bank office of Schweriner See was in the north of the Ludwigslust-Parchim district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). Until 2013, seven municipalities were united in this office to carry out their administrative business. The administrative headquarters were in the Rampe district of the Leezen community . As a result of a merger with the previous offices of Banzkow and Crivitz , the Ostufer Schweriner See office was merged into the newly formed office of Crivitz on January 1, 2014 .

On March 28, 1992, the east bank of Schweriner See office was formed with the five communities Cambs , Gneven , Godern , Langen Brütz , Leezen , Retgendorf and Rubow. The communities Pinnow and Raben Steinfeld were added on October 12, 1992. On June 14, 2004, the official, up to then independent municipalities of Retgendorf and Rubow merged to form the municipality of Dobin am See . On January 1, 2012 Godern was incorporated into Pinnow.

The official area extended from the shore of the Schweriner See over the terminal moraine east of the lake to over the upper reaches of the Warnow . In the north-west and south-west, the official area bordered directly on the state capital Schwerin , in the north on the district of Northwest Mecklenburg . It corresponded - with deviations on the eastern border - to the historical land of Silesian , found in the 12th century when the Obotrite land was conquered. The Cambser See and the Pinnower See were the largest of the numerous lakes in the office. The highest elevation was the Homberg at 98.7  m above sea level. NHN .

In addition to agriculture, tourism in particular played an increasing role on Lake Schwerin. The proximity to the state capital made many municipalities in the office attractive as a green space to live.

The federal road 104 (from Schwerin to Güstrow ) and the federal road 321 (from Parchim to Schwerin) led through the office east bank of Schweriner See . The federal highway 14 crossed the official area from north to south. Railway lines from and to Schwerin passed the office.
