The office was created on January 1, 2014 from the merger of the previous offices of Banzkow , Crivitz and Ostufer Schweriner See . Crivitz is the new administrative center, Leezen and Banzkow (the former administrative offices of the East Bank, Schweriner See and Banzkow offices) are the offices of citizens' offices.

Coat of arms, flag, official seal

The office does not have an officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag. The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the state of Mecklenburg. It shows a looking bull's head with torn off neck fur and crown and the inscription "AMT CRIVITZ".

Infrastructure

Fire protection

For the city of Crivitz and the municipalities of the Crivitz Office, there are 28 volunteer fire brigades that ensure help in the event of fires and other emergencies. The fire brigades are divided into a main fire brigade (City of Crivitz), two base fire brigades (Raben Steinfeld, Leezen) and 25 fire brigades with basic equipment. Chief of the military service is ABM Markus Eichwitz, his deputies are HBM Tim Kuhlmann and HBM Andreas Dauck.
