In the Rhinow [ ˈʁiːnoː ] office, six municipalities in the Havelland district in Brandenburg are combined in an administrative association. The official seat is the city ​​of Rhinow .

Geographical location

The office is located in the north-west of the Havelland district and borders the state of Saxony-Anhalt in the west, the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in the north, the Friesack office and the city of Rathenow in the east and the Nennhausen office in the south .

Municipalities and districts

history

The Rhinow Office was established in 1992 and came into being with the approval of the Minister of the Interior on March 4, 1992, with effect from April 1, 1992. The city of Rhinow was designated as the official seat. At the time of formation, 14 municipalities belonged to the office:

On December 31, 2001, Gülpe, Parey, Spaatz, Strodehne and Wolsier merged to form the new municipality of Havelaue and the municipalities of Hohennauen, water soup and Witzke to form the municipality of Seeblick . The following municipalities now belonged to the office: Görne, Großderschau, Havelaue, Kleßen, Schönholz-Neuwerder, Seeblick, Stölln and the city of Rhinow.

On December 31, 2002 the municipalities of Görne and Kleßen merged to form the new municipality of Kleßen-Görne. Also on December 31, 2002, the communities Schönholz-Neuwerder and Stölln form the new community Gollenberg. This reduced the number of municipalities belonging to the office to six.

On 30 October 2009, the elected official committee Jendretzky from. Aasmann was entrusted with the administration of the office and was elected as the new office director on May 27, 2010 by the office committee. He was confirmed in office on March 15, 2018 for a further eight years.
