District court Graefenberg

The district court of Graefenberg was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1932 and was based in the city of Graefenberg .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Graefenberg. His district corresponded to that of the repealed district court Graefenberg . There was thus from the communities Affalterthal , roof city , Dormitz , Egloffstein , Ermreuth , Gräfenberg, Big Book , Großengsee , Guttenburg , Hetzles , Hiltpoltstein , Hundshaupten , Igensdorf , Kappel , Kleinsendelbach , Lilling , Mittelehrenbach , Neunkirchen am Brand , Upper Ehrenbach , Pettensiedel , Pommer , Rödlas , Rüsselbach , Stöckach , Thuisbrunn , Walkersbrunn , Weißenohe , Wildenfels and Zaunsbach existed. The superior authority was the Nuremberg Regional Court .

With effect from January 1, 1932, the Graefenberg District Court was repealed and its district

The district court was housed in the rooms of the former Nuremberg nursing home, a three-story saddle roof building on Kirchplatz 8. Today the city administration is housed there.
