Großenbuch is a Franconian church village that belongs to Neunkirchen am Brand .
geography
Located in Erlanger Albvorland located Kirchdorf is one of eleven officially designated community parts of the Upper Franconian market Neunkirchen am Brand. It is located about two and a half kilometers east-northeast of the center of Neunkirchen at an altitude of 354 m above sea level. NHN .
history
Großerbuch was first mentioned in a document in 1374. Until the beginning of the 19th century it had sovereignty of reaching immediate subordinate to nobles, located in the the Frankish knights circle belonging Ritter Canton Gebürg had organized. In the course of the municipal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Großenbuch was incorporated into the Neunkirchen market on January 1, 1972. In 2018, Großenbuch had 547 inhabitants.

The FO 28 coming from Neunkirchen leads past the western outskirts of Großenbuch and continues over the Hetzlas Mountains to Rödlas . The nearest train stations are in Erlangen on the Nuremberg – Bamberg railway line and in Eschenau on the Graefenberg railway .
