Anabel Cäcilia Ternès von Hattburg (actually Anabel Cäcilia Princess von Preußen-Ternés von Hattburg), born on May 12, 1972 in Bonn , is a German entrepreneur , university professor , author and speaker.

Educational path

Anabel Ternès has won multiple prizes in the Jugend musiziert competition . At the University of Osnabrück she obtained the academic degrees of an MA (1995) and a diploma pedagogue (2002). She graduated from the Fernuniversität Hagen with a degree in business administration (2001). At the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg she was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD . During her academic years, she received a scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and was a mentee in the KIM (career in management) funding program of the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Entrepreneur

After working in the management of international companies such as Samsonite and Fielmann , she founded her first startups , including the German-Turkish startup ICEM and the German-Austrian organization New Leaders Generation in 2009 . In 2016, she founded HealthMedo GmbH in Berlin , a service provider with a focus on mental health and brands such as Psychologio and Kursis . In 2017 she founded CoCarrier GmbH together with Julian Maar ; In the logistics sector, this company focuses on fast deliveries, from downtown to worldwide, and relies on crowd delivery . Julian Maar and Anabel Ternès managed the companies together, Anabel Ternès was managing partner in both companies .

Expertise

Anabel Ternès has been Managing Director of the International Institute for Sustainability Management and course director for the Communication Management course at the SRH Hochschule Berlin since 2012 . Since then she has also been a visiting professor at the German University in Cairo on the Berlin campus. Since 2015 she has also been head of the International Business Administration focus on E-Business course . She is also a health auditor trained by EuPD Research . In 2015 she set up the MBA program in corporate demography and health management . She has been an alumni of the Aspen Institute since 2019 . Here and in numerous publications, she primarily deals with questions of digitization , health and health management , consumer research, business development and sustainability , as well as practical knowledge, for example in the areas of the world of work and work organization , startups, digitization in medium-sized companies or current consumer behavior. She was an ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the American organization Same Sky . She is on the board of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship . She is a signatory to the Diversity Charter . She has been an ambassador at the Impact Hub since March 2019 .

In 2016 she founded GetYourWings . This non-profit GmbH is committed to a holistic understanding of digital competence and works together with educational institutions, publishers and non-governmental organizations .
