Andrea Grosske

Andrea Grosske (born March 23, 1928 in Nuremberg ; † November 30, 1997 in Hamburg ) was a German actress , radio play and voice actress .

Life

Andrea Grosske gained her first stage experience at the age of 5. After training in acting and dance in Hamburg, she worked from 1945 to 1949 at the local dance stage “Lola Rogge”. Further stage stations were Braunschweig, Basel, the Lower Saxony State Theater Wilhelmshaven and again Hamburg, where she appeared at the Theater im Zimmer and at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus under well-known directors such as Oscar Fritz Schuh and Ivan Nagel . She was awarded the Hamburg Island Prize for her artistic achievements.

Since the early 1950s, Andrea Grosske has repeatedly taken on roles in film and television productions. She starred in the Johannes Heesters comedy So What Do Gentlemen like to do again and again , in Paul Verhoeven's drama The Guilt of Dr. Homma , in Tom Toelle's socially critical million - dollar game , in Egon Monk's multi-part series farmers, bigwigs and bombs based on Hans Fallada and in the Surminski film adaptation of Kudenow or Weeping at Stranger Waters . She also played guest roles in television series such as Tatort , Hamburg Transit , On behalf of Madame , Cliff Dexter and Percy Stuart . In the television thriller Das Haus an der Stör from the Stahlnetz series, which is based on true events , she embodied the assistants of the detective "Roggenburg", played by Rudolf Platte .

Andrea Grosske also worked extensively as a speaker for radio plays and film dubbing . For example, she dubbed Patsy Smart in The Angry Moon and Emilia Krakowska in The Promised Land .
